For 25 years, Armin Moshyedi, MD, has served as a plastic surgeon with various health care organizations. Presently, Dr. Armin Moshyedi provides cosmetic care to patients at AirSculpt.
Dr. Moshyedi performs liposuction, a technology that does not require stitches. With this technology, he can remove fat through a small opening no larger than a pencil eraser. Instead of surgical scarring in the area, patients are left with a mark that is similar to a natural skin blemish.
In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Moshyedi has extensively researched and presented on various topics in plastic and reconstructive surgery, first as a research assistant at the University of Maryland’s Division of Neurosurgery and later as a fellow at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine. His research has appeared in publications such as Breast Disease, the American Journal of Physiology, and the Journal of Infection and Immunity. He has also presented at conferences hosted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Alabama Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Society of Surgical Oncology’s Annual Cancer Symposium, among others.
Throughout his career, Dr. Moshyedi has received recognition for his contributions to the field, including the University of Pennsylvania’s Pennsylvania Club Award, the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Hans R. Wilhelmsen Prize, the University of Florida College of Medicine’s Medical Alumni Association Award in Surgery, and the University of Floriday College of Medicine’s Edward R. Woodward Surgical Resident Award. He also holds memberships to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons.
